Exceeding Our Personal Expectations

Paralysis by analysis is a real thing. For me, at least.

But I also see it with new clients, who you know, for the longest time, have been hesitant to take action on bettering their wardrobe.

The results are hard to quantify, and honestly take longer than expected.

It’s a journey.

On the one hand, it may make sense in not starting something you’re not sure you can succeed when there are other, safer options open to you.

Settling is easy.

But if we only did the things we were sure would work, we’d end up limiting our potential and stifling our growth.

Right?

No matter what project we’re embarking on, it’s tempting to lower the bar so we can be sure of a successful outcome before we begin.

Or, we can choose to find joy in the effort of exceeding our expectations.

The obstacle is the way.
