Very Presidential

Here is a look back at some killer presidential looks.

Alexander Pierce

Looking like a villain in a historical. A little envious of that hair, not gonna lie. Of note, the hand in the waist coat. Know why? Read this.

Ronald Reagan

Owning this brown herringbone. This exact look I would wear today. Few things of note. The single pleat trouser with a 2” cuff, the proper placement of a tie pin (most people wear them way too high) and the rib cage monogram (my preference).

John F. Kennedy

I’d like to know the story behind the tie. You know there was a story. Enjoy a wild podcast? Listen to this episode about JFK - Sex, drugs and near fatal illnesses.

Harry Truman

Really dig the dove gray here. Also, if you go with a double-breasted suit, you gotta go with the unapologetic wide peaked lapel.

Teddy Roosevelt

Pinky ring king. This was a casual “day suit” for the times. Satin lapels were more common than you’d think. Thoughts on that jacket length? May be hiding this long gun.

William Howard Taft

#27 — Closing it out with this one just for the incredible scarf / blanket situation. Also, that mustache just screams “power”. Fun fact — he once lost 70 lbs in 4 months on a low carb diet.
