Going Back
This week I’ve had more than one conversation about “going back” and how my customers are wanting to switch things up.
Whether that is investing in more quality casual clothing… or resetting and reinvesting in the basics due to lost weight. The conversations are varied.
Our appearance matters; that doesn’t need to be hounded upon. By reading this, you know that.
What could be revisited as we head back into the office is what’s needed.
Example: One finance client is very fond of 3 piece suits. It has become something he is “known for.”
We discussed his new approach with zoom meetings, and I could tell his frustration with giving up the way he liked to dress.
The new approach was still vests and button-up shirts but more casually. Heavier fabrics for the fall, something that can work with denim.
It may not be for everyone, but it was very on-brand for him. 6 vests and shirts later, he had a plan.
Going back will eventually happen.
I encourage you to start thinking about what that looks like for you.
Here is a video I posted two years ago about “dressing up.” I believe it still be relevant.
