Must Have: Tuxedo

Ahh the essential tuxedo.

How is this an essential you may ask?

Because when you need it, you NEED it.

Think about the last time you wore one.

Black tie charity fund raiser, formal wedding, dinner with the President.

Whatever the occasion, it mattered. You were shmoozing with people you would like to impress.

Putting your best foot forward is essential in itself, and a man just looks spectacular in a custom fitted tuxedo.

Not to mention, your date deserves it.

One of the frustrating aspects of my line of work is year after year I see guys renting.

This causes several layers of frustration.

From fit and appearance to economics.

"Pay a grand, and never give it back" are some of the best words of wisdom I've received.

OK...so you know you need one, but what kind?

For most, the first foray into the arena of formal wear should stay classic.

This will get you by in most situations that call for formal dress.

Classic = gentleman.

Remember, you don't have to be loud to be heard.

Blue Tuxedos are still formal but need to stay on the darker side. The darker the shade, the less fuss.

Another option popular in the South is the white dinner jacket. Always with black tuxedo pants, always slim and typically worn in the warmer months.
