Line Item

Good morning,

A graphic designer works for decades to master the tools of the trade.

Not just the design programs and fonts the designer uses, but the discernment, the eye, the unique perspective.

These are the intangibles that clients value with the end result.

It's hard to attach all that to an hourly rate.

Value creation isn't only about what's exchanged in a transaction—the logo, a widget, a suit.

Value is more than the usefulness of things.

Value is about utility and desirability.

Value is getting expert advice around a product being created, not just the sheer cost.

The experience at ABBEYDALE relates.

You might say "I just need a suit," but what you're really saying is I need a brand position.

I need representation for everyone that comes in contact with what I'm presenting.

If we want to be valued for both the skills that differentiate us and the work that brings us joy, then we must find ways to articulate that value to our customers.

Creating more presence, more confidence, and more compliments through your wardrobe is our way.

Hard to put all of that into a line item.

With purpose,

DW
