What we Need, When We Need It

Sustainability in the fashion industry seems to be the latest buzz word with brands these days.

Companies that are making an effort are sure to use it in marketing campaigns, and honestly, I think it’s terrific.

The more waste we eliminate, the better.

If you’d like a quick deep dive into how we got where we are today with fast fashion - Patrick Grant gave an insightful and humorous discussion at TedX.

I’m proud to say the ABBEYDALE day one model has always been a made-to-order operation.

This is done in an effort to reduce waste, allows us to purchase what we need, when we need it, with nothing going unsold and eventually ending up in a landfill.

The foundation of our approach is buying better, but less and that will never change.

I believe in our model as it allows us to make the highest quality garments at a price of value, manufacture precisely what is needed, and in the end, do less harm to the environment.

So, even if you’re not aware of the sustainability of our model, I thank you for investing in clothing you love to wear, and investing in pieces that last.

Not only is it good for your wardrobe and personal presentation, it’s great for the environment.

I love a good win-win situation, and I appreciate you supporting us.
